Wox enters a new stage with Georgia Startup Academy
A focused chapter of customer validation, operator learning, and building a stronger restaurant operating system.

Wox is entering a new stage. We are excited to be part of the Georgia Startup Academy by 500 Global.
Wox started from a simple observation: running a restaurant still often means managing disconnected systems, spreadsheets, messages, and manual processes just to keep daily operations under control.
We are building a connected operating system for restaurants, bringing POS, inventory, purchasing, analytics, and day-to-day operations together in one system.
Through the program, our focus is not simply to build more.
It is to work closely with real restaurant operators, validate where Wox creates the most value, turn that learning into a stronger product, and build the foundations for sustainable growth.
Over the coming months, we will share more of what we are learning, testing, building, and proving along the way.

Restaurant Inventory Management: The Complete Guide for 2026
Inventory is one of the largest expenses a restaurant carries, typically accounting for 28% to 35% of revenue. Yet many operators still rely on pen-and-paper systems, spreadsheets, or inconsistent counting methods that leave thousands of dollars in waste, theft, and over-ordering invisible. This guide covers the fundamentals of restaurant inventory management, from counting methods and par levels to technology adoption and waste reduction.
Manual vs. Automated Restaurant Procurement: A Complete Comparison
Every restaurant must purchase ingredients, but the method of procurement varies enormously. Some operators still place orders by phone, track costs in spreadsheets, and reconcile invoices by hand. Others use automated platforms that generate purchase orders from inventory data, scan invoices with AI, and track vendor pricing in real time. The difference between these approaches is not theoretical—it shows up in food cost percentage, labor hours, data accuracy, and profitability. This article compares the two approaches across every dimension that matters to restaurant operations.
